The Top 40 J-POP songs - Week 12 of 2026 – Only Hits Japan Charts

This week's J-Pop Top 40 is headlined by the biggest chart leap we've seen in months. Hoshimachi Suisei's "月に向かって撃て" rockets from number 27 all the way to the top spot, securing its first week at number one. XG's "HYPNOTIZE" and King Gnu's "AIZO" each move up one place to round out the top three, while last week's chart-topper, YOASOBI's "アドレナ," falls sharply to number 18.
Four tracks debut directly inside the top 15. Yorushika's "千鳥" enters at number 7, followed by ZUTOMAYO's "yomosugara" at number 12 and aespa's "ATTITUDE" at number 14. The week's most notable climb belongs to SEVENTEEN's "Tiny Light," soaring 21 places to land at number 15. Another significant gain comes from XG's "GALA," up eleven spots to number 23.

Several established hits experience notable drops. Ado's "Vivarium" falls three places to number 5, while Kenshi Yonezu's long-running "IRIS OUT" dips four spots to number 13. Mori Calliope's "LET'S JUST CRASH" drops seven to number 17, and OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM's "Make Me Wonder" plunges sixteen places to number 31.
