The Top 40 J-POP songs - Week 47 of 2025 – Only Hits Japan Charts

This week’s chart is dominated by fresh entries, with an astonishing 37 new tracks making their debut. Holding strong at the summit is On The Way by AiNA THE END, maintaining its grip on the number one position for an impressive 15th consecutive week. Kenshi Yonezu enters the fray twice, debuting at number 2 with IRIS OUT and again at number 4 alongside Hikaru Utada on JANE DOE.
XG makes its presence felt with a double impact. Their new song GALA debuts at number 3, while IS THIS LOVE re-enters the chart at number 36 after a previous slip. The biggest drop this week comes from Creepy Nuts, whose track オトノケ - Otonoke plummets to number 34 from last week’s number 2, ending its long run in the top tiers.

The chart sees some surprising returns; Usseewa by Ado re-emerges within the top 20, landing at the 20th spot and bridging the past hits with the current wave. Despite the influx of new entries, established favorites show persistence, as demonstrated by YOASOBI's 劇上 dancing into the top 10 on its chart debut.
