The Top 40 J-POP songs this week - Only Hits Japan Charts

The top of the chart remains locked this week. CORTIS’s REDRED holds at #1 for a fourth week, with King Gnu’s AIZO and XG’s HYPNOTIZE also staying at #2 and #3 respectively. The major story is the meteoric rise of IVE’s LUCID DREAM, which jumps 29 spots from #33 to land at #4. This surge contrasts with last week’s #4, Ado’s Haru Ni Mau, which slips one place to #5.
Movement is concentrated in the upper mid-section. Ado’s AiAiAi climbs from #11 to #8, while Vaundy’s 飛ぶ時 and ONE OR EIGHT’s TOKYO DRIFT make significant gains, rising to #12 and #13 from #18 and #22. Conversely, Hikaru Utada’s パッパパラダイス experiences a sharp drop, falling 17 positions from #5 to #22. ATARASHII GAKKO!’s Chanka Chanka also declines, moving from #13 to #30.

This week sees three re-entries. ARASHI’s Five returns at #15, BE:FIRST’s BE:FIRST ALL DAY at #24, and ヨルシカ’s 千鳥 at #35. There is also a single new entry: POLKADOT STINGRAY’s 逆様 debuts at #39. YOASOBI’s アドレナ and yama’s 飛ぼうよ show upward momentum, each rising four spots to #27 and #28.

The lower chart shows gradual declines for many tracks, such as Mori Calliope’s 黎明Compass falling from #29 to #37. Overall, the chart’s stability at the summit is disrupted by IVE’s explosive entry into the top five, marking the most significant shift of the week.
