Anime 'Tensei Goblin dakedo Shitsumon Aru?' Reveals New Cast, Theme Songs by Sou and AHUB

The upcoming anime 'Tensei Goblin dakedo Shitsumon Aru?' (So I'm a Goblin, Got a Problem?) has announced three new voice cast members and the artists for its opening and ending theme songs.

Natsuki Hanae joins the cast as Albert, Hiro Shimono as Izuis, and Yukari Tamura as Tenchi Kaihaku. The series is scheduled to premiere on Japanese television in October 2026.

Vocalist Sou will perform the opening theme. His 2020 digital single "Mr. Fixer," used as the opening theme for 'ID:INVADED,' spent four consecutive weeks at number one on overseas streaming charts.

The four-piece band AHUB, centered around Vocaloid producer Keisuke Soga, will perform the ending theme.

Specific song titles and release details for both themes will be announced at a later date.

New Cast & Comments

Natsuki Hanae, voicing the shrewd third prince Albert, said he was surprised by the premise of being reborn as a goblin but found the goblin characters very cute and enjoyed recording.

Hiro Shimono, playing the small dragon Izuis, described his character as elusive, sometimes seeming airheaded and carefree, other times carrying an intimidating presence.

Yukari Tamura, cast as the mysterious and powerful Tenchi Kaihaku, called the character strong, cute, and reliable. She expressed excitement watching the clever protagonist, Akira, piece together plans in a world where goblins live only a week.

Series Overview

The anime adapts the fantasy series by author Nazuna Miki and artist Tsukasa Araki. Salaryman Yagami Akira dies saving a child, only to be reincarnated as a goblin—a species with a lifespan of just seven days. Using the unique skill [Human 80 Years] granted at rebirth, he inherits various abilities from goblins who pass before him.

The main cast also includes Kikunosuke Toya as Akira, Yoko Hikasa as Karen, Anzu Tachibana as Chloe, Banjo Ginga as Simon, Sayumi Suzushiro as Eirene, M.A.O as Dike, and Wakana Kuramochi as Eunomia.

Animation is produced by BAKKKA, with direction by Ryuta Kawahara. The anime's official website and X account are now live.
