BLACK TORCH Episode 4 Preview Reveals New Member Duel

Details for Episode 4 of the anime BLACK TORCH, titled "Tarinainu Futari," have been released ahead of its July 25 broadcast. The episode synopsis centers on a duel between Jiro and the new Black Torch member, Ryoji Kirihara.

In the episode, the proposer of the duel, Ryosuke Shiba, intends to test Jiro's aptitude for the covert operations bureau. Jiro faces off against Ryoji's overwhelming swordsmanship.

The anime, animated by the global label 100studio, airs weekly in Japan. It is available for international viewers on several streaming platforms, including Prime Video, Hulu, and Disney+ Star. A full series binge-watch begins November 5.

The series features an opening theme by SiM and an ending theme by I Don't Like Mondays. The voice cast includes Ryohei Kimura as Jiro, Yoji Ueda as Rahu, and Saori Hayami as Ichika Kishimo.

BLACK TORCH follows Jiro, a high schooler raised by his ninja grandfather who can talk to animals. His life changes after meeting a wounded black cat named Rahu, who is actually a legendary monster.
