Bye-Bye-Hand no Hoteishiki Releases New EP 'Bokura wa Namida o Nagasanai-EP'

Osaka rock band Bye-Bye-Hand no Hoteishiki has released a new EP, 'Bokura wa Namida o Nagasanai-EP'. The lead track, 'orion ring', is accompanied by a music video filmed on a boat in Osaka's Dotonbori district.

Crowd gathered near a canal in Osaka at night

The video is a compilation of footage from a fan-participation event held earlier this month. The band performed a live show on a boat, with fans following along from the shore and submitting their own recordings. Over 27 hours of fan footage was incorporated into the final edit.

The video was directed by Fukatsu Masakazu, who has previously worked with ONE OK ROCK and LiSA.

The band added a new drummer, Tsukagawa Yusuke, in March 2024 after their major label debut. The five-track release includes a bonus track only available on the physical CD.

The EP is available on global streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music. The band will also embark on a nationwide tour across six cities in Japan, starting in Kobe on July 17.

Bye-Bye-Hand no Hoteishiki formed in 2015 with members from the same middle school in Osaka.
