Digimon 30th Anniversary Project Launches Global Best Episode Vote

Toei Animation has launched the first project for Digimon's 30th anniversary: a global fan vote to select the best episodes from the franchise's first four anime series.

The "World-Chosen Best Episode Vote" is open to fans worldwide. Voting runs from June 26 to July 10 on a dedicated website. Participants can vote once per day, selecting one favorite episode from each of the four series: Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02, Digimon Tamers, and Digimon Frontier. Fans are encouraged to leave comments explaining their choices.

An interim ranking will be announced on July 3, with the final results published on August 1.

The franchise's first anime, Digimon Adventure, began airing in 1999.

The latest anime series, DIGIMON BEATBREAK, began airing in October 2025. The most recent game, Digimon Story: Time Stranger, released in October 2025, shipped over one million copies, the fastest milestone in the series' history.
