Digimon Tamers 25th Anniversary Revives D-Ark Toy with Color Screen

The 25th anniversary project for the anime Digimon Tamers launched during the DIGIMON CON 2026 livestream. The event drew over 20,000 concurrent viewers worldwide.

The centerpiece of the announcement is the D-Ark -25th COLOR EVOLUTION-, a modernized version of the 2001 card-slashing toy. It features a color LCD screen, a rechargeable battery via USB-C, and a vibration motor. Three color variants are available, based on the main characters Takato, Jianliang, and Ruki.

The device includes over 100 Digimon, more than 350 voice lines from the original cast, and the series' opening theme The Biggest Dreamer. It comes with 14 plastic cards for its card-slash gameplay and features connectivity with other recent Digimon color-screen devices.

Voice actors Mayumi Yamaguchi (Jianliang) and Fumiko Orikasa (Ruki) appeared during the livestream segment. Makoto Tsutsumi, the voice of Takato, also provided a written comment reflecting on the series' legacy.

Pre-orders for the D-Ark -25th COLOR EVOLUTION- are open on the Premium Bandai website. Each unit costs 14,300 yen. The order period runs until April 22, 2026, with delivery scheduled for July 2026.

Digimon Tamers originally aired from April 2001 to March 2002. The full 50-episode series is available for streaming on Amazon's Toei Animation Channel in Japan.
