Fantasy Light Novel 'LV999 Villager' Anime Premieres July 2026

The TV anime adaptation of the popular fantasy light novel series LV999 Villager will premiere on July 1, 2026. The series will air on Japanese TV channels TV Tokyo and BS Fuji, with exclusive, unlimited streaming starting simultaneously on ABEMA and DMM TV.

The first episode is titled "Lv1 The World's Structure." The protagonist, Kyouji Kagami, is a "villager"—the weakest class—who has reached the maximum level of 999.

The original web novel by Hoshitsuki Neko began serialization in 2015 on Shousetsuka ni Narou. Published by KADOKAWA with illustrations by Fuumi, the light novel series has sold over 4 million copies across eight volumes. A manga adaptation by Kenichi Iwamoto has reached 20 volumes.

The anime is produced by Brain's Base, with direction by Yoshinobu Kasai and series composition by Shinzo Fujita. The opening theme, "Not a Hero," is performed by Nakuru Aizuki and Itsuki Natsume, with composition by Kayoko Kusano. The ending theme is "HP" by Yukimura.

A non-credit version of the opening animation will premiere on the GREE Entertainment YouTube channel at 24:30 JST on July 1. The voice actors Nakuru Aizuki and Itsuki Natsume will host a simultaneous watch party for the premiere.

The main cast includes Keishi Inomata as Kyouji Kagami and Nao Touyama as Alice. Supporting roles feature Hiroya Egashira, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Manaka Iwami, Aoi Koga, Lynn, and Yuichiro Umehara.
