Futarimeno Giant Releases New Single 'GOKIGEN DANCE'

The Japanese party funk band Futarimeno Giant releases its new single "GOKIGEN DANCE" worldwide on June 27. The track serves as the lead single from their upcoming album 'THIS IS PARTY FUNK,' scheduled for July.

Described by the label as an "ultimate good mood anthem," the song aims to counter daily frustrations with funk-pop energy. It features a "utsu poi" section, a call-and-response part designed for live audiences to collectively discard their gloom.

Choreographer Getsu from METEORA st. created the dance. The music video, directed by Sho Miyoshi, was filmed at vocalist Yoco's family home and the live house INDIA live the SKY in Nagano.

The single is available on global streaming platforms via a universal link. The official music video premieres on the band's YouTube channel at 10 PM JST on June 27.

Key members are also part of REAL AKIBA BAND, which performed at Nippon Budokan in 2024.
