Global Webtoon 'Eleceed' Gets TV Anime for Early 2027, Cast Revealed

The popular action webtoon 'Eleceed' is getting a TV anime adaptation set for an early 2027 broadcast.

The series, originally created by SJH and ZHENA, follows a kind-hearted young man named Yū Kazahaya who hides his supernatural abilities. His life changes when he takes in a wounded stray cat that turns out to be a powerful 'Awakener' named Kayden.

Junya Enoki will voice the protagonist, Yū Kazahaya. Tasuku Hatanaka is cast as Jin Tatsuoka, a mysterious Awakener who transfers into Yū's class. The supporting cast includes Setsuji Satō as the scientist Dr. Delain, Hayato Dōjima as the brash delinquent Sōta Yanagi, and Shizuka Itō as Amane Yanagi, the young leader of a major Awakener organization.

The anime is directed by Hiroshi Nishikiori (A Certain Magical Index) with series composition and script by Yōsuke Kuroda (My Hero Academia). Character design is handled by Minami Sakura. Dandelion Animation Studio is handling production.
