Hana Hope Shares 'Sayonara Lara' Anime Ending Video for New Single 'Hearts Glow'

The non-credit ending sequence for the anime 'Sayonara Lara' is now on YouTube. It features Hana Hope's new song 'Hearts Glow', the title track of her upcoming single.

The video was directed by moaan with deep-sea imagery by illustrator MON. It pairs the acoustic band arrangement of the song with Hana Hope's vocals. The anime is a 15th-anniversary project from studio Kinema Citrus, known for 'Made in Abyss' and 'My Happy Marriage'. It reimagines 'The Little Mermaid', set on Lake Biwa 200 years in the future.

"The title 'Hearts Glow' means 'light of the heart'," she said. "The 'wild glow' in the lyrics is that unique shine everyone has."

The digital single for 'Hearts Glow' arrives on July 22. A music video for the track premieres the same day at 9 PM JST. A teaser is already available.

A physical CD follows on August 5 in two editions. The standard first-press version comes in a paper jacket. The anime-limited edition includes a Blu-ray with the non-credit ending video and uses an eco-friendly disc tray.

The single contains three tracks. 'september' was recorded in Woodstock, USA with producer David Baron, known for work with Lana Del Rey and Shawn Mendes. 'Scorpio Skies' was produced and composed by MONJOE.

Hana Hope will perform at domestic festivals including Summer Sonic Osaka and Sweet Love Shower. Her schedule also includes international appearances at After Work Fest in Malaysia on July 25 and LaLaLa Fest in Jakarta, Indonesia on August 23.

Her largest solo concerts to date are set for August 7 at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM in Tokyo and August 28 at Music Club JANUS in Osaka.

The anime 'Sayonara Lara' began airing on July 5.
