Hans. and Sala Release Collaborative Single 'coming and going'

New Zealand-based Korean artist Hans. has released a new single featuring Japanese R&B singer Sala. The track, titled "coming and going," was recorded in Sydney during Sala's recent stay in Australia.

Hans., a singer-songwriter and producer, released "Froyo" featuring Clairo in 2017. He has since supported tours for Billie Eilish, Hard Life, and Korean rapper pH-1.

Hans. directed the music video for the single, which was filmed in Sydney at locations like Sydney Olympic Park and the suburb of Rhodes. The video also includes footage from his first Tokyo performance at Shinjuku SPACE in December 2025.

"I love this song because it feels like an ascent to me," Hans. said. "Everything comes at you all at once, and there's a feeling of floating. The lyrics are about a transitional time in my life with many meetings and partings." He noted the video was shot on short notice after Sala arrived in Sydney a month earlier than planned.
