IDOL:UnderCode Launches With Concept Movie and Global Talent Search

A new fan-participation anime and VTuber project, 'IDOL:UnderCode,' has launched. The project released a pre-animation concept movie on its official YouTube channel.

The project is a collaborative IP between PANDORA and L&L Victor Entertainment.

The released movie offers a preview of the main characters' world, from daily life to concert performances. The project calls the video a 'work-in-progress concept movie.'

Alongside the video release, the project is holding an open audition for its main cast. Selected individuals will debut as 'XTubers,' who will perform as both VTubers and real-life 3D talents.

The audition offers a guaranteed hourly rate during a two-month training period, followed by a revenue-sharing model. All necessary streaming equipment, including a PC, microphone, and avatar software, will be provided at no initial cost. Selected talents may also receive free acting lessons.

Applicants must be between 16 and 29 years old, though older applicants may be considered based on skill. They must be unaffiliated with other agencies and able to reside in the Kanto region by May 2026 for contract signing. The ability to appear in-person for live events is required.

The first round of document screening closes on March 31, 2026. Subsequent rounds of auditions and recruitment are scheduled through May.
