Instrumental Band Sup Announces Debut Album 'Yup'

The instrumental quartet Sup will release their first physical album, 'Yup', on November 25, 2026. The group, formed in 2020, has previously focused on digital releases.

Sup consists of Shota Watanabe (piano, keyboards), Yukito Shimizu (guitar), Takahito Kumashiro (bass), and Akiteru Hashimoto (drums). Their music blends jazz with funk, soul, hip-hop, and electronic elements.

The eight-track album includes the vocal track 'Red Soup' featuring singer Mutsumi Kuwahara, and 'Green Willow' featuring saxophonist MELRAW, known for work with Utada Hikaru and King Gnu.
