john's New Hatsune Miku Song 'Dream Core' Premieres on 39ch

Crypton Future Media released a new original song and music video for Hatsune Miku today. The track, titled 'Dream Core' (ドリームコア), was created by the artist john and premiered on the official Vocaloid YouTube channel, 39ch.

The music video pairs a dark, stylized visual world with a brisk, rhythmic track. The illustrations of Hatsune Miku featured in the video were drawn by john himself, with the MV directed by Meri.

The song is available for streaming via a nodee page that aggregates links to major music services, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music.

In a creator comment, john reflected on the Vocaloid scene. "Vocaloid songs continue to reach our ears without losing momentum," he wrote. "When I think about what kind of song would be good to create here and now, in that time spent in the abyss with just myself and Hatsune Miku—that dreamlike time itself might be my solace."
