Koji Yakusho Stars in Netflix Comedy 'Did Someone Happen To Mention Me?'

The main trailer and key art for the Netflix series 'Did Someone Happen To Mention Me?' have been released. The show stars Koji Yakusho as a famous actor who returns to Japan after two years abroad to find he has been completely forgotten.

Written by Kankurō Kudō and produced by Akira Isoyama, the series is a human comedy following Yakusho's character, Takasegawa Gen, as he is forced to restart his career from zero. He ends up working at a sauna in Tokyo's Okubo district, where he meets an eccentric cast of characters.

The trailer features the series' theme song, 'A Ta Shi Kenchana Yo', a duet performed by characters within the show. The song was written by Kudō with music composed by Ken Yokoyama.

The ensemble cast includes Kento Kaku, Ken'ichi Matsuyama, Noriko Eguchi, Yumi Kawai, Masatoshi Hamada, Yūto Isomura, Maki Sakai, and Yō Yoshida.

'Did Someone Happen To Mention Me?' will premiere exclusively on Netflix worldwide on October 22, 2026.
