'Koko Ore' Anime Episode 2 Preview and Global Streaming Details

The second episode of the TV anime adaptation of the popular light novel series 'Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike to Itte kara 10-nen ga Tattara Densetsu ni Natteita.' (Koko Ore) airs July 13. For international viewers, new episodes will be available on Prime Video three days early, starting July 10 at 22:30 JST.

The anime is based on a light novel series by Ezo Gingitsune that has sold over 4.5 million copies. The story follows Rank, an S-rank mage who stayed behind to fight a demon lord while his party escaped. He returned to his world ten years later as a legendary hero, now living under a new identity as the F-rank adventurer Lock.

Episode 2, titled "Sukana no Oku ni Tondemonai Teki ga Ita" (An Incredible Enemy in the Depths of the Lair), sees Lock and rookie adventurers Ario and Ginny joined by a beast-girl vampire hunter named Cia. Their goblin hunt leads them to a Vampire Lord, a foe far beyond the rookies' capabilities.

In Japan, the episode will broadcast on TOKYO MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, TV Aichi, BS11, and AT-X. Simulcasts will also be available on ABEMA and d Anime Store.

The opening theme is performed by sajou no hana, with the song "Soredemo Donten o Koeteyuku." The series is animated by Tsukiniji, directed by Kanbe Yoko, with series composition by Hirota Mitsuki.
