#KTCHAN Releases New Single 'Yappari Anata wa Koko ni Ita'

#KTCHAN has released a new single, "Yappari Anata wa Koko ni Ita." The track is her first since placing as runner-up at the June 2026 Sengoku MCBATTLE, where her second-place finish was the highest ever achieved by a woman in the battle's history. A music video teaser is now available.

The song was written after her return to the competition following a two-year hiatus.

"During the two years away from MCBATTLE, I had time to properly confront my own emotions through my artist activities," #KTCHAN said in a statement. "I put my resolve into this song—to accept the possibility of getting hurt and still choose what's important to me."

The single was performed live for the first time at the Sengoku MCBATTLE Chapter 43 event on its release date, October 11. #KTCHAN will headline a birthday live event, "BIRTHDAY BASH Ready to 22," on October 23 at Yokohama ReNYβ. Guest performers include DOTAMA and Kubota Kai.
