Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's viral 'THE FIRST TAKE' performance to be released as digital single

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu will release "Kimi ni 100% - From THE FIRST TAKE" as a digital single on June 12, 2026. The track is the audio from her May 29 debut performance on the YouTube channel THE FIRST TAKE.

The song "Kimi ni 100%" is a signature track originally released in 2013 as the opening theme for the anime "Crayon Shin-chan." It has ranked on TikTok's music chart for 12 consecutive weeks. Videos using the song have amassed over 45 billion plays.

The THE FIRST TAKE performance video surpassed 3.5 million YouTube views within 10 days. It reached number one on YouTube's Daily Music Video Ranking in Japan and number four on its Music Trending chart.

The performance featured Kyary in full pink styling, from hair to outfit.

The digital single will be available via standard streaming platforms.

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu will also hold a 15th anniversary event, "PAMYU FES," on August 22 at Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa. The festival features guests including Atarashii Gakko no Leaders, Kishidan, Kimura Kaera, FRUITS ZIPPER, and MONGOL800. Ticket pre-sales are currently open via Lottery.
