Mahiru Announces New Digital Single 'Sunshower' for April 8

Singer-songwriter Mahiru will release her second major-label digital single, "Sunshower" (天気雨), on April 8, 2026. The track is described as a pop-rock number for the spring season, built around driving guitar sounds.

Her first single, "Zinnia" (百日草), topped the weekly Japanese New Songs charts on KKBOX in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

A remix of her song "fragrance," featuring Patrick Brasca, is nominated in the Best Cross-Border Collaboration category at the MUSIC AWARD JAPAN 2026.

In a statement, Mahiru described the new song as an anthem for new beginnings. "I think it's difficult to face something new with only excitement. It takes courage, and you might fail and feel down," she said. "But I believe failure has value. It's about how you turn anything into something valuable and evolve at your own pace."

Tickets for her one-man live at Zepp New Taipei on May 2 sold out in 30 minutes. She is also scheduled to perform at the CON-CON HONG KONG 2026 event.

The single will be available via a standard lnk.to URL, directing listeners to global streaming platforms. Mahiru's 2026-2027 "Auralisia" Asia tour includes dates in Taipei, Mie, Osaka, Aichi, and Tokyo.
