MAN WITH A MISSION releases new single 'ONE' with music video premiere

MAN WITH A MISSION released a new single, "ONE," on August 29. The track's music video premiered on YouTube at 7:00 PM JST the same day.

The song is the current theme for the J.League soccer team Cerezo Osaka. Jean-Ken Johnny said the band aimed to create a track that would encourage the team and its supporters, generating a positive atmosphere for victory.

"ONE" opens with a powerful techno stomp and the chant "One wish, One glory, One soul." The track is built on a driving beat from Kamikaze Boy and Spear Rib, layered with Jean-Ken Johnny's heated raps and sharp guitar riffs, Tokyo Tanaka's soaring vocals, and DJ Santa Monica's hyperspace scratches.

The music video was directed by Takayuki Kojima, who also directed the band's early videos for "distance" and "FLY AGAIN." The video is Kojima's 1,000th as a director. It includes homages to their past work.

The single "ONE" will be included on the band's upcoming physical single "Firestarter," scheduled for release on October 28. It is their first physical single in approximately five years.

MAN WITH A MISSION will perform at several domestic festivals through November, including SWEET LOVE SHOWER 2026 and AIR JAM 2026. A "Firestarter Tour 2026" is scheduled for December with dates in Tokyo and Osaka.

The new single "ONE" is available for streaming on major platforms.
