MELONii, Former SECRET NUMBER's MINJI, Debuts Solo with 'Risky Risky'

MELONii, the artist formerly known as MINJI of SECRET NUMBER, has launched her solo career. Her debut single 'Risky Risky' was released on March 31, her birthday.

She participated in audition shows like Produce 101 and Produce 48 before debuting with SECRET NUMBER in 2021. After leaving the group in April 2025, she worked on songwriting for other artists. Her new stage name is a blend of 'Melody' and 'Harmony'.

MELONii cites Showa and Heisei-era J-Pop, naming artists like Chisato Moritaka. The track 'Risky Risky' incorporates Y2K-era sounds, drawing comparisons to early Utada Hikaru and BoA. The music video features period fashion like velour tracksuits and cassette players.

The single is available via a universal link. Her official fan community also launched on March 31 on the multilingual platform b.stage.
