Monster Strike Anime 'Mera×Death' Sets January 2027 Premiere

The mobile game Monster Strike is getting a new TV anime adaptation. Mera×Death: Shinigami to Boku no Ijō na Koi will premiere on January 5, 2027, on Japanese broadcast networks including TOKYO MX.

The story follows Mera, who lives an uneventful life, and Thirteen, a death god who suddenly appears before him. The promotional video shows Thirteen inviting Mera on a date, marking the start of their story.

The anime will be produced by studio keel and Qzil.la. Kenta Kushitani from studio keel will direct. The staff includes series composition and script by Daisuke Ohtou and character design by Tadashi Sakazaki.

The series will also be available on video distribution services.
