Necry Talkie releases anime theme 'Smoke and Blue', EP to follow

Necry Talkie will release the digital EP Smoke and Blue e.p. on August 5. The title track, 'Smoke and Blue', serves as the ending theme for the TV anime Yani Neko.

The song will be available on digital platforms a day before the anime premieres, on July 1.

The four-track EP includes 'Smoke and Blue' alongside three new songs: 'Ereki no Kimochi', 'Kaze ga Tada Fuiteiru', and 'Yokei na Koto'.

The anime Yani Neko begins its broadcast on July 2 on Tokyo MX, BS11, and AT-X. The story follows Yani Neko, a lazy, cigarette-smoking beast-person living in a world where humans and beast-people coexist.

Necry Talkie also announced a national two-man tour, Okey Talkie! National Edition vol.7, running from September to November. Supporting acts include Grape Kiki, PompadollS, and Conton Candy.

The band released a live Blu-ray, Necry Talkie Major Debut 5th Anniversary Solo Commemorative Performance "Shime" at Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO), on June 24.
