New Prince of Tennis Anime Reveals Cast, Theme Songs for 2026 Season

The production committee for The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 WORLD CUP Final Selection Match has released its third teaser visual and announced the opening and ending theme songs for the upcoming anime season. The series is scheduled to premiere in Fall 2026.

Veteran actor and singer Yu Shirota will join the cast as Romeo Fernandez, a member of the Spanish national team. Shirota previously played the role of Kunimitsu Tezuka in the stage musical adaptations of the franchise.

The new teaser visual depicts rivals Keigo Atobe and Yushi Oshitari from Hyotei Academy, who will compete against each other for a spot on Japan's final roster for the U-17 World Cup match against Spain.

The opening theme, "Walls And Bridges," will be performed by Aozu, a unit consisting of the characters Ryoma Echizen, Kunimitsu Tezuka, Shuichiro Oishi, and Syusuke Fuji. The ending theme, "Kinkanshoku phenomenal," will be performed by the duo of Keigo Atobe & Yushi Oshitari. Both songs are new compositions written specifically for the anime.

A new teaser promotional video has been released on the anime's official YouTube channel.
