Ojikawa Anime Set for October 2026, Cast and Promo Video Revealed

The TV anime adaptation of the manga Ojisan wa Kawaii Mono ga Osuki. (Ojikawa) will premiere in October 2026.

The series follows Mikitaka Shoji, a cool and competent office worker secretly obsessed with cute things. Kazuyuki Okitsu will voice the lead role of Mikitaka. Miyu Tomita voices Pug Taro, the cute character Mikitaka adores.

The supporting cast for Pug Taro's friends includes Fuuka Izumi as Boss Kichi, Yurie Funato as An, Asami Tano as Carrie, and Hinata Sato as Gurepi.

A promotional video previewing the anime's world and the insert song "Pagu-tto Icchatte~" by Pug Taro & Friends is now available.

The insert song, composed by YUPPA, is now available on streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.

Maiho Makino directs the anime at studio LIDEN FILMS. Satoshi Sato is handling series composition and scripts. The character designer is Tomomi Kimura.

The original manga by Tsutomu is published on the COMIC Polaris web platform. The 12th volume is scheduled for release on August 7, 2026.
