Spotify launches 'BLUE? It's Okay' mental wellness video series with ano, Retro Riron

Spotify has launched a new original video series, BLUE? It's Okay, focused on mental wellness for Gen Z. The series features exclusive acoustic performances and intimate talk videos from a roster of artists, including ano, Retro Riron, Daichi Yamamoto, and Nishina.

Band performing in a cozy acoustic session

ano's content for the series begins streaming October 1. Each artist contributes a stripped-back acoustic version of a song and a podcast-style talk. The topics range from navigating teenage struggles to personal methods for dealing with low moods and accepting vulnerability.

The acoustic session videos are available to Spotify Premium subscribers, while the talk podcasts are accessible to all users, free and premium. After a 30-day exclusive window on Spotify, the videos will be released on the participating artists' official YouTube channels.

Blue-themed, intimate room set for the series

The series was recorded on a custom-designed set intended to create a private, intimate space where artists could feel close to the audience. The creative agency CEKAI handled the set design.

All content is collected in a dedicated BLUE? It's Okay playlist on Spotify.
