Steins;Gate Re:Boot Reveals Trailer for New Gamma World Line Route

MAGES. released a trailer detailing a new story route for Steins;Gate Re:Boot. The route explores the Gamma World Line, a scenario not featured in the original 2009 visual novel.

In this timeline, protagonist Rintaro Okabe arrives in a world where the time machine was never completed and D-Mail does not exist. The trailer shows Okabe seeking help from his lab members, only to be met with hostility instead of their usual bond.

The Gamma World Line route depicts a story where the persona of Hououin Kyouma never emerges. Okabe is forced into isolation and despair alongside Kiryu Moeka.

Steins;Gate Re:Boot launches August 20, 2026, on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox versions will be download-only. Spike Chunsoft will handle distribution for Xbox and Steam.

A Super Limited Edition is available for pre-order through Japanese retailers MAGES GET and Amazon.co.jp until June 15, 2026. This edition includes an art print by character designer huke and a complete soundtrack DVD-ROM set spanning seven Steins;Gate titles.

Standard and Limited Editions are also available, bundled with an art book, a remastered soundtrack, and a Blu-ray of the STEINS;GATE 15th LIVE - ONE WORLD - event. Retailer-specific purchase bonuses include tapestries and clear posters featuring characters like Mayuri Shiina and Faris NyanNyan.

The game is rated C for ages 15 and up.
