Super Kaguyahime! Expands Theatrical Run, Releases 'Reply' Music Video

The anime film 'Super Kaguyahime!' is expanding its Japanese theatrical release to over 100 venues starting March 13. A new in-theater viewer bonus, a commemorative illustration board, will be distributed to the first 300,000 attendees nationwide.

The film, which premiered on Netflix globally in late 2025, began a limited theatrical run in Japan on February 20. Screenings sold out quickly, and the film has ranked in the weekend box office top 10 for two consecutive weeks.

Alongside the expansion, the music video for the insert song 'Reply' has been released. The song, performed by Kaguya (voiced by Yuko Natsuyoshi) with music by kz (livetune).

The film is directed by Seigo Yamashita and produced by Studio Colorido and Studio Chroma. Its soundtrack features songs from notable Vocaloid producers including ryo (supercell), kz (livetune), 40mP, HoneyWorks, Aqu3ra, and yuigot.

'Super Kaguyahime!' is currently streaming worldwide on Netflix. The theatrical run and viewer bonus are exclusive to Japan.
