TAKARA Releases 1st EP 'Takara'

TAKARA, the new duo of ASHA and KOKONA, releases their first EP, 'Takara' (宝), on August 24.

The four-track EP includes their debut single 'Time is money'. The song's music video surpassed 5 million views in eight days and topped YouTube charts in Japan.

Three other tracks on the EP were produced by the duo themselves during their pre-debut period. A music video for one of those songs, 'Akarui Yume' (明るい夢), will premiere on their YouTube channel at 20:00 JST on August 24.

TAKARA formed after ASHA and KOKONA participated in the 'No No Girls' audition, a project by BMSG and Chanmina. They are the second act on Chanmina's self-produced label, NO LABEL ARTISTS, following HANA and Fumino.

The EP is available on global streaming platforms via the universal link.

Following the video premiere, TAKARA will host a live stream on YouTube at 20:05 JST to commemorate the EP's release.
