That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 Premieres April 3

The fourth season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime begins its broadcast on April 3. The new season will run for two consecutive cours.

The first episode, titled "New Days," sees the Jura Tempest Federation bustling after its founding festival. Adventurers gather in the city and the underground labyrinth is thriving, but an unexpected problem arises within it.

Season 4 continues the story of Rimuru Tempest's nation building. After establishing diplomatic relations, the Jura Tempest Federation moves toward creating a world where humans and monsters coexist. However, the rise of the Demon Lord Rimuru draws the attention of those who see it as a threat, including the former "Hero" Granbell Rosso and his granddaughter, Mariabell.

The season is directed by Tsuda Naokatsu, with series composition by Ogawa Hitomi. The opening theme "Esoragoto" is performed by Eir Aoi, and the ending theme "Katsubou" is by CiON.

The main Japanese broadcast is on NTV's "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT" slot every Friday at 23:00, starting April 3. The series will also be available via subscription video-on-demand and transactional VOD services from April 4, with catch-up streaming starting April  8.

The voice cast returns, led by Oka Saki as Rimuru, Toyoguchi Megumi as the Great Sage, and Maeno Tomoaki as Veldora.

The film That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: The Movie - Scarlet Bond is currently in theaters. Distributed by Bandai Namco Filmworks, the story follows Rimuru and his allies as they travel to the underwater nation of Kaien to help a shrine maiden named Yura.

The film features a theme song, "Utopia," performed by TRUE.

Home Video and Print Releases

A limited-edition Blu-ray box set for Season 2 is on sale until January 27, 2027. It includes reprinted booklets, a new novel by original author Fuse, and various audio and video bonuses.

The 23rd and final volume of the original light novel series was released. A special edition includes an acrylic panel and postcard. A spin-off novel, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Side Story: How to Spend a Certain Vacation, was also published.
