The Living End announces first Japan tour in 17 years with ROBIN reunion

The Australian rock trio The Living End will return to Japan in July 2026 for their first tour there in 17 years. The initial Tokyo show sold out immediately, prompting an added date. That final show will also feature the reunion of the Japanese psychobilly punk band ROBIN, who have been inactive for 15 years.

The tour supports their 2025 album I Only Trust Rock n Roll. The three original club dates are July 15 at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO (sold out), July 17 at Nagoya CLUB QUATTRO, and July 18 at Osaka Umeda CLUB QUATTRO.

The added event, titled "Lewis Leathers presents Wings, Wheels and Rock'n'Roll Vol.4," will be held July 20 at Shibuya Spotify O-EAST. The leather brand Lewis Leathers, worn by acts like the Sex Pistols and The Clash, is hosting the show. Attendees wearing Lewis Leathers jackets on the day will receive a special benefit.

That event will be a double-headliner with ROBIN. The Tokyo-based band, known for a fusion of rockabilly, punk, and psychobilly, formed in 2001 and disbanded in 2011. Their July 20 performance marks their first in 15 years.

The Living End formed in Melbourne in 1994. Their 1998 self-titled debut album hit number one in Australia, with the single "Prisoner of Society" becoming a national anthem. They have since released multiple chart-topping albums and won ARIA Awards.

Pre-orders for the July 20 event at Spotify O-EAST run from March 13 at 19:00 to March 22 at 23:59 Japan time. Tickets for the club tour are also on sale. International ticket links are provided.
