Tiny Metal: Zero Line Anime Pilot Premieres at Japan Expo 2026

The pilot episode for Tiny Metal: Zero Line, the first anime adaptation of the strategy game series, had its world premiere at Japan Expo 2026 in Paris on July 9. The event featured a stage talk with director Hiroyasu Kobayashi (Studio Colorido), character designer Yūsuke Kozaki, and composer Go Shiina.

The panel, hosted by French streamer Kayane, included a live drawing performance by Kozaki and a violin performance of Shiina's game music by AREA 35 CEO Hiroaki Yura. The official website and teaser trailer were released the same day.

Tiny Metal: Zero Line is a full-CG anime produced by game developer AREA 35 and SAFEHOUSE, the studio behind Netflix's Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance. It uses Unreal Engine. The story is set after a global war, focusing on factions in conflict over powerful lost technology called "Lost Tech."

The voice cast includes Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Nathan Grease, Mikako Komatsu as Wolfram, Riho Kuma as Nora Godwin, and Kenjirō Tsuda as Tsukumo Isoroku.
