Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra to Perform Theme for 'Nezumi-kun no Chokki' Anime

The TV anime adaptation of the classic children's book series 'Nezumi-kun no Chokki' (Little Mouse's Red Vest) has revealed its theme song artist and main staff. Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra will perform the opening theme, 'Good Luck! My Friend feat. Muro Tsuyoshi & Sakana-kun'. The anime's background music will be composed by Selin.

Two promotional videos for the anime premiered online, featuring the first preview of voices by Kenjiro Tsuda and Mamiko Noto. The series, based on a book series with over 16 million copies sold overseas, will begin broadcasting on NHK Eテレ in April 2026.

The anime is directed by Nobuyoshi Habara, with character design and CG direction by Kazumori Yasuda. The series composition is by Shunma Hara.

The 'Nezumi-kun' picture book series was created by author Yoshio Nakae and illustrator Noriko Ueno in 1974. The anime will air Saturdays at 9:30 AM on NHK Eテレ starting April 4, 2026.
