Tongari Boushi no Atelier Season 2 teaser premieres at Anime Expo 2026

A new teaser trailer for the second season of the TV anime Tongari Boushi no Atelier (Witch Hat Atelier) premiered today at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles.

Director Ayumu Watanabe confirmed production of Season 2 is underway. A message from Watanabe was read to the convention audience. "Being able to deliver the continuation of this wonderful story to the world is the greatest happiness for our anime team," the director said.

The teaser picks up from the Season 1 finale. It shows the Romonoon people advancing on Coco and her friends, a high-stakes action sequence featuring Qifrey, and a meaningful shot of Coco wearing a brimmed hat.

The anime's opening theme is "Kaze no Anthem" by Eve featuring suis from Yorushika. The ending theme is "Tada Utsukushii Noroi" by Nakamura Hak.

The first season of Tongari Boushi no Atelier adapts Kamome Shirahama's award-winning manga. The manga has over 9 million copies in circulation and has won international awards including the Eisner Award for Best U.S. Edition of International Material—Asia.
