TV Anime 'Tanuki to Kitsune' Reveals Main Cast and Promo Video

The main voice cast for the upcoming TV anime Tanuki to Kitsune has been announced. The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan on October 4, 2026.

Nao Toyama will voice Kitsune, with Misaki Kuno as Tanuki. The supporting cast includes Toshiyuki Morikawa as Wolf, Mariya Naganawa as Rabbit and the narrator, and Takuma Nagatsuka as Bear and a second Rabbit character.

A promotional video for the anime was also released.

The anime is based on the comic series by Atamoto. It will air on Sundays at 7:00 AM as part of the TV Tokyo network's "Ani Mori!" programming block.

Tommy Hino is directing the anime at Akatsuki Media Studio, with a script by Rika Kihara.
