TV Anime 'The Vermilion Mask' Reveals Main PV and Cast Ahead of October 2026 Premiere

The first main promotional video for the upcoming TV anime The Vermilion Mask has been released. The series, animated by global studio 100studio, also confirmed its main voice cast.

The anime is based on the manga by Nabana Nabana and Dr. Poro, serialized in Shonen Gahosha's Young King Ours. It follows Pell, an apprentice to legendary mask-maker Gaston. After being controlled by a powerful mask and unintentionally killing his master and friends, Pell embarks on a journey to destroy Gaston's remaining creations and atone for his sins.

The newly revealed cast includes Tahei Kimura as Pell, Yuyuki Yamamoto as Sonarue, and Waki Ura as Mok. Veteran voice actors Kenta Miyake, Kouki Uchiyama, Junya Enoki, Kazuhiko Inoue, and Akio Ōtsuka also join the project.

Wataru Watanabe directs the series at 100studio, with Arisa Okehazama composing the music. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2026 on the Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV network, airing Saturdays at 5:30 PM.

An English-language website and X (formerly Twitter) account have been established for the series.
