UNIS Announces First Japan Mini Album 'UNI☆Sparkle!' with Summer Single 'Gimme Summer'

The global girl group UNIS will release their first Japan mini album, 'UNI☆Sparkle!', on July 31. The group has unveiled new concept visuals for members Kotoko, Nana, and Elisia ahead of the release.

The five-track mini album includes the summer title track 'Gimme Summer', the HoneyWorks-provided single 'Moshi Moshi', the Koresawa-provided track 'Shiawase ni Nanka Naranai de ne', and 'SWICY - Japanese ver.'.

The lead single 'Gimme Summer' was released digitally on July 17. The song was written and composed by Kanata Okajima, who has worked with BTS and M!LK, and Carlos K., known for Lilas Ikuta's 'Koikaze'. Choreography is by Saeko Makida, known for viral dance routines on social media.

The music video was filmed entirely in Okinawa, featuring scenes of the blue sea, sky, and open streets.

Pre-orders are open for three editions, including versions with random trading cards and photo cards. Member Oh Yuna did not participate in the jacket photoshoot or the 'Gimme Summer' music video due to health reasons.

The digital single 'Gimme Summer' is available for streaming now. The physical mini album 'UNI☆Sparkle!' releases on July 31, 2026.
