UNIVER23 to Make European Debut at Brussels Pop Culture Festival

The Japanese idol group UNIVER23 will perform in Europe for the first time this October. The seven-member group is scheduled to appear at the Heroes World featuring Made in Asia 2026 festival in Brussels, Belgium on October 17 and 18.

The festival focuses on manga, anime, games, and cosplay. This follows the group's first overseas performance in Bangkok, Thailand this past August.

"We grasped a sensation we hadn't experienced in Japan—becoming one with hundreds of audience members through music on stage," they said. Member TAITO noted that seeing other artists in Bangkok made him realize his own perspective needed to mature.

"Since Belgium is nearly the opposite side of the world from Japan, the language wall feels thicker," one member stated. The group plans to rely on their performance style, which incorporates acrobatics, to communicate.

Their song "BOOGEYCAT" is the ending theme for the TOKYO MX anime Neko no Kura-chan ~Kurare Ōkoku Tairiku no Lutte Amor~.

They also posted a VLOG of their Bangkok trip on their official YouTube channel and plan similar content from Belgium.

Heroes World featuring Made in Asia 2026 takes place at Brussels Expo. Saturday hours are 10:00 to 19:00; Sunday hours are 10:00 to 17:00. More information is available on the event website.
