VTubers Yu and Tomonyaa Announce Major Label Debut with Vocaloid Covers

Two VTubers from the JOYSOUND LIVER PROMOTION agency will release their first major label singles. Yu and Tomonyaa will release digital cover songs simultaneously on March 25 via Imgramox Music.

Yu will cover niki's song "ELECT," becoming the first male artist to debut on the Imgramox Music label. Tomonyaa will cover the classic Vocaloid song "Yume to Hazakura" (Dream and Leaf Cherry Blossoms).

Pre-save links for both tracks are now active. The music videos will premiere on the Imgramox Music YouTube channel on the release date.

Imgramox Music has previously released four cover songs by JOYSOUND LIVER PROMOTION talents, with some tracks surpassing 100,000 streams. The label plans to distribute "本人映像カラオケ" (artist video karaoke) versions of the new music videos to JOYSOUSE karaoke machines across Japan.

In a statement, Yu said the debut was a starting line, not a finish line.
