WurtS Song 'INSIDE' Selected as Image Song for Final Fantasy Resonance

WurtS's track "INSIDE" will serve as the image song for Square Enix's upcoming RPG, FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE. The song is also featured in the game's final trailer.

The collaboration was facilitated by Game Music & Artists, a service launched in November 2025 by Universal Music's partnership division VMG and the sound production company Noisy Croak. The service aims to support game developers with everything from artist casting and music production to marketing.

FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE is described as a new "dot Final Fantasy" title, built on HD-2D graphics and incorporating a technique called "Cinematic Pixel." It is scheduled for release on October 23, 2026.

WurtS is signed to Universal Music / EMI Records. "INSIDE" will be included on his first mini-album, SPARK, set for release on October 21.

In a related initiative, Game Music & Artists hosted a meet-up event on September 4 at Universal Music's headquarters in Tokyo. Approximately 100 participants from the game and music industries attended for networking and a panel discussion featuring composer and Noisy Croak CEO Hideaki Sakamoto and musician / artist Shuta Hasunuma.
