YOASOBI's NHK Morning Drama Theme Song Titled 'Sakihokore'

YOASOBI will perform the theme song for the upcoming NHK morning drama 'Blossom'. The song's title is 'Sakihokore'. The drama begins its broadcast on September 28, 2026.

The duo's composer, Ayase, visited the hometown of the drama's real-life inspiration, author Chiyo Uno, in Yamaguchi Prefecture to create the track.

Vocalist ikura said she sang while envisioning the drama's protagonist, Tama Hano.

The original story for the song was written by novelist Risa Wataya, known for works like 'Kick Me in the Back'. Wataya crafted a tale that compares Uno to a cherry blossom tree.

'Blossom' is a story modeled on the life of author Chiyo Uno, who lived through the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods.
