YOSHIKI Returns to Japan for Award Ceremony and Live Stream

YOSHIKI returns to Japan from the United States to receive a special award from the Japan-America Society. The ceremony and a personal update will be streamed live on October 5.

This is his first public appearance since the cancellation of the Global Citizen Festival 2026 in New York, where he was scheduled to perform. The Japan-America Society will present YOSHIKI with the special Kentaro Kaneko Award.

The live stream is divided into two parts. The first, at 3:30 PM Japan Time, will broadcast the award ceremony from Tokyo. The second part, at 6:30 PM, will feature YOSHIKI live from a studio discussing his recent recovery, current state of mind, and future plans.

The stream will be available globally via YouTube Membership (with Japanese audio and English simulcast) and for free on YouTube. A separate stream will be available on Niconico Channel.

YOSHIKI recently received the International Citizens Award from the Japan-America Society of Southern California on September 17.
