YumeGen MewType Breaks Attendance Record, Debuts New Anime Theme Song

BanG Dream! band YumeGen MewType (Yume∞Mita MewType) performed their largest solo concert to date at SGC HALL ARIAKE in Tokyo on June 21.

The concert opened with performances by two new bands from the upcoming mobile game "BanG Dream! Our Notes": millsage and Ie Dumb Rock!. Both acts will also perform as opening acts for MyGO.'s 9th Live in July.

YumeGen MewType's set spanned their discography, including singles "Communication Fire!", "Hi-Vision", and "Midnight Amusement Park". They performed their 4th single's title track "Journey to Superplanet X" live for the first time.

The final song was the world premiere of "This is the Synopsis of Our Survival (Kore wa Bokutachi no Seizon no Arasuji)", the opening theme for the upcoming TV anime "BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita".

New Anime and Music Announcements

Following the concert, new details for the anime were released. The main key visual and second promotional video for "BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita" are now available. The anime begins broadcasting on July 2, with the first three episodes airing back-to-back.

The new theme song "This is the Synopsis of Our Survival" began worldwide digital distribution at 20:00 JST on June 21. A non-credit opening animation for the anime was also published on the official BanG Dream! YouTube channel.

YumeGen MewType will release their 5th single, also titled "This is the Synopsis of Our Survival", on September 30. The limited edition Blu-ray version will include footage from the Tokyo concert. A release event tour will visit nine locations across Japan starting in September.

An archive of the Tokyo concert is available for purchase until June 28 at 23:59 JST.

Colorful anime characters with futuristic design

To commemorate the anime broadcast, YumeGen MewType will hold two free live performances titled "Shinjuku Landing Plan". The shows are scheduled for August 22 at Tokyu Kabukicho Tower Stage and September 25 at Zepp Shinjuku.
