LISA's documentary 'ALWAYS LALISA' to receive theatrical release in Japan

LISA's documentary film 'ALWAYS LALISA' will be screened in Japanese theaters for a limited period, starting from October 12. The film, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, will be shown in 24 theaters across Japan for three days.

The full-length documentary follows the first year of solo activity for the BLACKPINK member. Directed by Sue Kim, it tracks LISA's navigation through pressure and new challenges in acting and brand building, while maintaining her private life.

Screenings are scheduled for October 12, 14, and 17, although some theaters have extended runs. Tickets are priced at 3,000 yen.

Major theaters include Human Trust Cinema Yurakucho in Tokyo, TOHO Cinemas Namba in Osaka, and MOVIX Hiroshima Station. A full list of venues and specific dates can be found on the official Japanese website.

LISA's recent activities include performing at the 2026 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony, hosting the 2026 Met Gala, and an upcoming Las Vegas residency, 'VIVA LA LISA'.

'ALWAYS LALISA' is produced by Sony Music Vision and distributed globally by Trafalgar Releasing. The film has a runtime of 98 minutes.
