Netflix Anime Film 'Super Kaguya-hime!' Ends Theatrical Run, Announces Final Stage Greeting

The anime film 'Super Kaguya-hime!' will end its theatrical run in Japan on June 18. A special 'graduation' stage greeting will be held the following day, June 19, with a live stream available on the film's official YouTube channel.

The event will feature director Seigo Yamashita and cast members Yuuko Natsuyoshi (Kaguya) and Saori Hayami (Yachiyo Tsukimi). The stage greeting at Cinemacity will be streamed live.

The film, a Netflix exclusive available globally, began a one-week theatrical run in February, which was later extended and expanded across Japan due to audience demand. It has drawn over 1.2 million viewers and grossed over 2.5 billion yen.

The music for the project was provided by Vocaloid producers ryo (supercell), kz (livetune), 40mP, and HoneyWorks.

Tickets for the in-person stage greetings at Cinemacity and Tollywood go on sale June 5 at 9 PM JST. The live stream on the official YouTube channel will be free to watch.
