9Lana's 'Rasen' Acoustic Version Surprise-Released After BLEACH Episode

An acoustic version of 9Lana's ending theme for BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Corruption was surprise-released on August 23. The track, "Rasen - RASEN - Acoustic Ver.," premiered without warning during the anime's 45th episode the day before.

The new arrangement strips back the original's band sound and strings to focus on melody and 9Lana's vocals. The digital release features new artwork of the Quincy king, Yhwach. The original single's cover art depicted protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki.

9Lana performed as a headliner for the BLEACH collaboration segment of YouTube Music Weekend 12.0 on August 23. The event included the premiere of the acoustic version's music video.

The acoustic track is included on a forthcoming CD single, scheduled for release on September 9. The limited edition package features sleeve designs of both Ichigo and Yhwach, with CD jacket art by illustrator nowri depicting two versions of 9Lana facing off.

The original "Rasen" music video is available on YouTube. The song was written by SAS, LOAR, and Sho from MY FIRST STORY, with arrangement by Kohei "CO-K" Takashi and piano by Sara Wakui.

The digital single "Rasen - RASEN - Acoustic Ver." is available on streaming platforms.
