Black Channel Manga Gets TV Anime Adaptation, Live Stream Today

The manga Black Channel will be adapted into a television anime. The announcement will be made during a live stream on the project's YouTube channel today, April 15, at 18:30 JST.

The Black Channel IP project began in August 2020 with a series of short anime co-produced by Shogakukan and creative company Plott. The story follows Black, a "dark hero" and demonic video creator who exposes the secrets of his elementary school classmates.

The YouTube channel, which hosts the short anime, has surpassed 1.2 million subscribers.

The emergency live stream will be held on the Black Channel YouTube channel. The project is also active on X (Twitter) and TikTok.
