Keroro Gunso Reboot Anime Reveals Cast, Key Visual, and October 2026 Premiere

BN Pictures has released the first promotional video and key visual for the new TV anime 'Keroro Gunso☆', a reboot of the classic Sgt. Frog series. The anime is scheduled to premiere on October 3, 2026, on TV Tokyo and its affiliate networks.

The reboot features an entirely new voice cast for the main Keroro Platoon. Koichi Makoto will voice Sergeant Keroro, with Rika Nagae as Private Tamama, Toshiki Masuda as Corporal Giroro, Kosuke Echiya as Sergeant Kururu, and Keishi Inomata as Lance Corporal Dororo.

The production is led by Chief Director Nobuhiro Kondo and Director Satoshi Sano, with series composition by Toshimitsu Takeuchi. Music is composed by Kan Sawada.

An advance screening event for episodes one and two will be held on September 26, 2026, at United Cinemas Toyosu in Tokyo. The event will feature a talk session with the five main cast members. A ticket lottery for the event is open from September Jab 7 to September 13.
